Sponsorship FAQ

Straight answers to what brands ask before sponsoring an MMA fighter.

How much does MMA sponsorship cost?

MCM structures sponsorships around the brand's objective, not a fixed rate card. A single-fight kit placement on a regional pro card is a different package from a multi-fight deal with a ranked UFC athlete or a year-long ambassadorship across a roster. Budgets typically start in the low four figures for one-off fight night activations and scale into five and six figures for headliner athletes, signature campaigns, or roster-wide partnerships. We scope every deal to the brand's goals — reach, conversions, content rights — before quoting.

What do sponsors get in return?

Depending on the package: logo placement on fight kits, walkouts, and shorts; social content and athlete-generated posts; appearances at brand events, gym visits, and meet-and-greets; podcast and interview mentions; co-branded video content; and ambassador-level rights for ad usage. Every deal includes a written deliverables list, an asset turnaround schedule, and post-fight reporting on impressions, content posted, and where logos appeared.

Which athletes can my brand sponsor?

Any active fighter on the MCM roster. We help brands shortlist athletes by weight class, fight schedule, audience demographics, region, and content style — so a halal nutrition brand isn't paired with a fighter whose audience doesn't fit, and a regional gym brand isn't quoted UFC main-card pricing. If you have a specific athlete in mind, name them in your inquiry and we'll confirm availability.

How long do sponsorship deals typically last?

MCM sponsorships range from single-fight activations (4–8 weeks around a specific bout) to multi-fight deals (3–4 fight camps), to annual ambassador contracts. Longer terms typically unlock better per-fight pricing, deeper content integration, and exclusivity within the brand's category. Every contract has a defined end date, renewal mechanics, and clear exit terms — no open-ended commitments.

Does MCM offer category exclusivity?

Yes, for the right partners. We can grant category exclusivity (e.g. you are the only supplement, apparel, or betting brand on a specific athlete or across a fight card) when the deal size and term warrant it. Exclusivity is priced into the agreement and clearly defined in writing — by category, geography, and duration — so there is no ambiguity about what's protected.

What's the process to start sponsoring an MCM fighter?

Submit an inquiry through our contact form with your brand, budget range, target audience, and any specific athletes or fight cards you're interested in. MCM responds within 1–2 business days with a shortlist of fits and an initial proposal. From there: a 30-minute discovery call, a written proposal with deliverables and pricing, contract execution, and onboarding with the athlete's content and walkout teams ahead of fight week.

Can I sponsor amateur fighters or only pros?

Both. Amateur sponsorships are typically smaller in scope and budget but offer brands a way to build long-term relationships with athletes before they hit the major pro stage — and they often deliver strong regional reach. MCM will tell you honestly when an amateur is the right fit and when a pro will deliver better ROI on your specific objective.
